M's Poetry
One Shepherd
To the brothers and the sisters
to the workers broke and cryin
on the road that leads to Zion
we shall climb all of our obstacles
be met with sweet consequences
we are all of God's children,
we all live in God's time
forget the deceivers
who whisper in your ear
they no nothing of the joy in this heart
because they are non believers
one shepherd will lead us!
Let one voice ring throughout the world,
let truth be sown and told
let us lay our own lives down
a greater love was never known
He is the reason we have the book of Psalms
While the light may flicker on and off
make a pact to keep your faith in him
knowing what has made us free
unity in the Word, at one with our beliefs
One world, one voice
so many temptations, but one right choice
in trenches we stand tall,
one truth that has found us
one shepherd for us all.....
