There was a girl
she was ion love
but she could never get enough
she fell down
and choked on the ashes
of another lightening bolt
the stars were all falling
and so she ran away
and now I'm calling

It's time to play
There was a boy
who named the plague
but that was long ago
lost in fields
of forgotten fantasias
hr broke his throat
and now hes screaming
at me to live another day
and now I'm calling

There was a man
who grew out at a cabin
and lived down by the lake
he hunted his own meals
and wrote a book of suffering
now the strings tied him down
I wonder if he got away
and now I'm calling

There was a woman
who couldn't find an escape route
so she danced a brand new dance
felt asleep in the sands of fantasy
and has learned to mask her tracks
and now shes dreaming
and now I'm calling

The damage has been done
we're all lost and found
the work was never fun
and never had time to be proud
underneath the glistening sun
oh how the head pounds
almost over but it's just begun
get your head back in the clouds
