Absent Minded
You Are
You are teeth,
and bones,
skin and hair,
and I don't care.
You are filth and crutches,
cracked and torn,
bloody and broken,
and I don't care.
You are faith down on it's knees,
sucking on me.
You are dirty,
breaking me open,
spreading me thin,
crushing the dreams.
Wake me up!
I can't scream,
need somewhere to belong.
wake me from this,
I cant be,
what I want!
wake me up,
I'm screaming inside.
I'm dieing,
won't you find me,
before it's too late?
You are saints,
shaking their heads,
on broken necks.
Holding their breath,
on prayers that
you want to collapse.
you are my slivers,
under my skin.
crawling in the empty,
feeding on the lonely,
breaking me open.
feel me here
believe in me
follow me down
breathe into me
Wake me up!
I can't scream,
need somewhere to belong.
wake me form this,
I can't be,
what I want.
wake me up,
I'm screaming inside.
I can't live this,
I can't live this lie.
and bones,
skin and hair,
and I don't care.
You are filth and crutches,
cracked and torn,
bloody and broken,
and I don't care.
You are faith down on it's knees,
sucking on me.
You are dirty,
breaking me open,
spreading me thin,
crushing the dreams.
Wake me up!
I can't scream,
need somewhere to belong.
wake me from this,
I cant be,
what I want!
wake me up,
I'm screaming inside.
I'm dieing,
won't you find me,
before it's too late?
You are saints,
shaking their heads,
on broken necks.
Holding their breath,
on prayers that
you want to collapse.
you are my slivers,
under my skin.
crawling in the empty,
feeding on the lonely,
breaking me open.
feel me here
believe in me
follow me down
breathe into me
Wake me up!
I can't scream,
need somewhere to belong.
wake me form this,
I can't be,
what I want.
wake me up,
I'm screaming inside.
I can't live this,
I can't live this lie.
