Friends Far Overseas, ChristmasTo all our friends, Our loved ones, In lands far overseas, You're in our thoughts, Most frequently, At special times, Such as these, We may not write, Too often, And I'll grant you, Talk not at all, But we still think, About you repeatedly, When the snowflakes, Start to fall. ~~~~~ When we sit down, This Christmas, For our Annual, Festive feast, We'll lift up, Our filled glasses, To those, We see the least, For though, Again this yuletide, We are oceans far apart, You are always with us, In our thoughts, A strong beat, Within our heart. ~~~~~ To all of our, Dearest loved ones, Where ever you may be, To all of our many, Special friends, Far across the sea, May your glasses, To the brim be filled? With good luck, And seasonal cheer, May we wish you all? Merry Christmas, With the happiest, New Year. Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
