Words of Life, Love and Praise
Love Letters
Love letters
from this old soul
earnestly ponder
this life, my own-
Scattered fragments
of each passing day,
ink dries
as the words display -
Remnants rise
and form to pen,
joys remembered
how were were then -
Quiet smiles
and peace of mind,
silently recalled
of a joyous time -
Now, today
this heart yet light,
eternally grateful
as I reminisce...life -
Love letters
from this old soul,
awaiting tomorrows
and what they behold.
from this old soul
earnestly ponder
this life, my own-
Scattered fragments
of each passing day,
ink dries
as the words display -
Remnants rise
and form to pen,
joys remembered
how were were then -
Quiet smiles
and peace of mind,
silently recalled
of a joyous time -
Now, today
this heart yet light,
eternally grateful
as I reminisce...life -
Love letters
from this old soul,
awaiting tomorrows
and what they behold.
