From Yesterday

God grant you a Merry Xmas
And keep you safe for me
Feel me close beside you
`Though far across the sea.

While you are in tomorrow
And with your gifts you play
Mine will lie unopened
For I`m in yesterday.

For you it will be morning
While I`m still in the dark
And while I lie asleeping
You`ll be walking in the park.

Across the miles I send my smiles
My hugs from back in time
You`ll catch them in tomorrow
Across these realms of mine.

So lift your glass my bonnie lass
And let me greet you dear
I wish you well in all you do
`Though I`m still in last year.
