What Will You Ask?!©

Ask not what CHRISTmas
can do for you,
ask what you can do
for CHRISTmas.
Close your mind to expectations
of material things,
open your heart to realizations
of what thy holy birth brings.
A world to own,
by all walks of life.
A place to call home,
amidst trouble and strife.
If we can't get along,
perhaps we should ponder:
how we can sing The Lord's Song
in a strange land over yonder?!
There's fighting and dying,
and blood in the streets.
Somewhere a child crying,
not enough food to eat.
If we turn our backs
on what's important on earth in this way:
we truly will lack
the meaning of Christ's Birthday.
He was born for all to see,
that miracles do exist.
If there is humanity:
put the Christ back in CHRISTmas.
Togetherness and Holiness
are the greatest gifts!
