Reach Out&Touch©A little girl not much more than two, sat on the curb all black and blue. Everyone that passed by, had to have a little cry. But i(stopped)to say hello: i couldn't just pass by as though, there's nothing i can do: i knew deep down it wasn't true. We sat and talked awhile, i even saw her smile. When asked why she was so sad, she said she made her daddy mad. Her mommy just went along, as if nothing was wrong. Everyday i pass this same place, waiting to cheer up her sad little face. I heard talk around the town, a little girl had drowned. It seems she couldn't learn to swim, so daddy was teaching her a lesson. At night when i walk along the beach, i hear her laugh because now: she's in God's Reach.... Stop child abuse before it's too late, today's children are tomorrow's fate!
