Satyr

She peered at me
Through love bruised eyes
Kissed my cheek
Then with a sigh
Laid her head
On my chest
And huddled there we took
Much needed rest
Making love
The way we'd been
Is very fine
In your teens
Not really at this stage
Sadly not too often
At our age
After a such long time
We'd visited our past
Caught our passion
And made it last
And
it seemed
Relived
Many dreams
I never thought
Either had the strength
For such passionate love
And at such length
Satiated
We both sleep
New memories made
For both
To keep
