 PLAYER
Muscles flexed
waiting

for the competition to pounce

Lips drawn taut
over gritted teeth
resolved
nostrils flared
(they will NOT win!)

Myopic mind
fighting even to the last second
if only for a taste
of that final chance for

SWEET VICTORY

K.Tate Jacoby
