 I'm Learning (Life Lessons Poem)

I'm learning to cope.
And I'm learning to sit and work.
And I'm learning to ignore.
Not put up with crap, when I run into mouthy jerks.
And I'm not learning to swear.
And I'm learning not to put up a big fuss.
And I'm learning (though it sometimes really hurts me)
Not to be a genius.
And I'm learning to laugh at others
When I slap them in the face.
And I'm learning that it's much
Much easier to be someone filled with grace.

I am NOT this crude. It's not in my nature to be like this. I was just trying something out.
