A First Kiss
I feel my tongue dart
To moisten my lips
Eager to taste
Of this long waited bliss
Shivers dance
The length of my spine
Though anticipation
Is both yours and mine
Feeling as if earth
Has gone from below
To give way for the rising
Of soft cheeks glow
With a fleeting touch
Resolve would wane
To wishes sweet touch
Would return again
Arching forth in hopes
That lips could reach
That temptation of heaven
That we seek
For yearning is a power
We can not dismiss
So sweet be the moment
When we share our first kiss
