Ode To A Snowflake

Through the air you fall
So peacefully,
I hold a smile on my face
Very lovingly.

I love how you shimmer
Under the morning sun,
Like a little diamond
From the cotton ball clouds, you've fallen.

You land on the noses
Of awaiting boys and girls,
They look for that one tiny snowflake
To land on their tight curls.

Oh little white snowflake
So perfect and true,
How, for one day
I wish I was you.

It's snowing again today. I'm just sitting here, watching the snowflakes fall one by one.
