"The Most Beautiful Doorway Eyes"
Captivated with your heart
From which is clearly seen
Through the depths of your baby blues
A vision with clarity, of
The woman you are meant to be
Your wisdoms gained with heartfelt muse
I see a rainbow of emotions
Some happy, others sad
A vibrant bouquet of feelings as you grow older
Hand picked and precisely placed
In an arrangement truly meant to please
The eye of the beholder
I see a love lost with an everlasting grace
I see a Mom's innate unconditional love
I see plenty of pain and a lot of sorrow
I see a will with strength and determination
I see the light at the end of your tunnel
I see you looking forward to a brighter tomorrow
I see anger and rage, venting off steam
I see you fighting within and with yourself
I see a heart thirsting with hunger to simply feel
I see a guarded trust and a growing belief in YOU
I see a love laying dormant, and full of fear
I see genuineness, honesty and ever surreal
I see life's passion, a ‘spit fire' ready to erupt
I see giggles and laughter as well as happy tears
I see empathy, devotion and true compassion
I see pride and joy and all of your happy places
I see moxy, can't hold you back, and go get ‘em
I see blessings and grace in your every action
I see truth and courage, wit and charm
I see the child within, happy and free
I see a spark, igniting into a flame lighting the way
I see a new twinkle in your doorway eyes
I see a vitality, one you've never felt before
I see a best friend, forever and a day
I see you giving of yourself, and baring no shame
I see a woman who fought for a second chance
Beginning anew with a brand new start
Yet the greatest image of all
Seen within your doorway eyes
I see the natural beauty of, God's most precious work of art
