 ```The Living Revenant```
design by glittereyes
  You walk through this life.
  Not seeing, not feeling or tasting.
  I used to think, you were half asleep.
  Though now I know otherwise.
  Through your hands;
  You let life slip.
  As you fill yourself;
  With so many wasted regrets.
  As you close your eyes to the color of wonder.
  How many sunrises will you miss?
  How many more will you just forget?
  Without ever wondering why?
  Have you ever succumbed to the 6 senses?
  Let your feet wonder.
  Let your mouth water.
  For the salt in the sweat;
  Of the skin of a broken-in lover.
  Will you ever just savor;
  The sweet nectar of a peach.
  Each sugary drop. Let it drip;
  Into your mouth, and dribble;
  Down your chin. Onto the curve of your neck.
  How many small wonders will you let slip by?
  How many sunrises?
  How many sunsets?
  How many miracles?
  Are you determined to miss?
  You the living revenant.
  You let your hands grow numb.
  You skin forgets the joy of touch.
  Your let your heart grow cold.
  Your soul grows hard.
  Your eyes forget, You feel no love.
  You the living revenant.
  Do you hear the Cries?
  Do you hear the laughter of children?
  Do you hear the heart in the chest of your lover?
  Do you speak truth or lies?
  Do you ever ask why?
  You the living revenant.
