FOUR DAYS AGAIN

Trying to get it right
As I have all along
Getting dark then light
While I write this song

CHORUS:

MY LOVE IS GOING TO DO SOMETHING
FREEDOM'S GONNA COME TOO
MY SONG IS GONNA MEAN SOMETHING
IF I SING IT FAITHFULLY TO YOU

Dusk sits over this town
I have to take a break
You're not coming back around
I mustn't cry and ache

CHORUS

You might not want to hear it
It overflows out of my every pour
Right now you can't be near it
My love's leaving you poor

CHORUS

It's a strange breed of wanting
You notice I refrain from your eyes
It's remembering your skin that's haunting
It's without answers to a thousand whys

CHORUS

Pride is not a solid wall
Soft wind with time will wear away
The hardest brick will fall
When love is pride's decay

CHORUS

Not ashamed, have four days here
Must do this writing anyway
To comprehend the darkness there
Until love brings it's light to stay

CHORUS.
