 My Revolution

In the Arabian cities
Which are polluted
With corruption
Tyranny
Salt
Smoke
And tears…
Bread
The caviar of the poor
Is blended with blood and sweat
I watch this misery
Gulping
The arrack of death
Hearing
The screams of the oppressed
Rising
To the palaces of their executioners
Hail to thee
Our blood and soul
We mark
And offer to thee

In our cities
Love is...
Indecency
Lewdness
Adultery
Forbidden

To dream is criminal
And treasonous

Poetry is...
Skeptical verse
Satanic
Propagating disease

The Arabian cities become
Detention camps for the people
And thousand star hotels
For the executioners...

Yet they call me rebellious
My poesy poison
Ah rejoice my heart
These allegations inspire me
Yes my poesy is fatal poison
For hypocrites
And executioners

My poesy is...
Thrill
Desire
Sweetness
Caviar of the poor
A kiss of lovers
The aroma of roses
Revolution against hunger
And starvation...
