The Seed Of Love And Mutiny

I belong to no one
For I am the son of heaven and earth
My religion is love
Language is poetry
God who heeds my sorrows
Heals them with the divinity of love
Sparrows
Lilies
Dreaming brooks
Butterflies
Drunken nights
Are my friends...

Forget what you preach to me
The one whom you claim to be god
Is the devil that keeps us in hell...
Hell is here
Poverty
Starvation
Oppression
Wars
Ignorance
Expatriation
These are what exist in hell
The devil whispers to your closed minds
And you draw boundary lines
Set up check points
Erect fences and walls built of hate
Soldiers whom you praise
Feed and clothe are killers...
Killing as they are trained to do..

Birds that used to live free
Die in cages
While birds that are used to slavery
Die when they are set free...

I am the seed of love and mutiny
Tomorrow
El- Maari
Dante
Milton
Pushkin,
Baudelaire
Rimbaud
Eminescu
Tagore
Lorca
Che Guevara
Elliot
Will roam through your streets
Burning history books
Spitting in the face of your civilization
Treading on the crowns of your kings
Thus shines the sun of humanity
Which you gave as an offering to your idols..
