 Inspiration!!

I beheld thee bathing in my poems,
Naked, and drinking the words of my thoughts.
Watering love by wine from thy lips,
Thus cups of love were filled with romantic verses.
Dawn breathed in light from thine eyes,
Breathing out morn, shining with delight.
From thy fragrance, gave roses their nectar,
To the sea, rubies and pearls from thy breast.

I beheld thee asleep, dreaming of love.
Thou wrote poems on sacred parchment,
Nymphs, listening, sat around thee.
Nereids, naked, danced on the shore.
Thou embraced flowers, offering a toast to the night;
The night was enchanted, infatuated with the scene,
Stars drowned in the sea, reflecting a glistering light.

I beheld thee praying at the temple,
Frightened, yet thy heart beat with hope.
We met for a night to quench our burning desire,
Wherein I vowed my soul for love and thee,
We prayed the night till morn did shine,
When the sky rained pearls, rubies, coral-stone,
Angels descended everywhere,
Birds bore tidings, singing your praise.
