Do you miss the sound of the `bleep`
Making your aching heart leap.
Do ya?
Do you miss my every text
Wondering what I`ll write next.
Do ya?
Do you miss the hugs and kisses
And all the loving wishes.
Do ya?
Do you miss the words that keep
You near, be it awake or asleep.
Do ya?
Do you miss me `your distraction`
The `phone now holding no attraction.
Do ya?
Do you long to hear me talk to you,
Setting your pulses racing anew.
Do ya?
Do you miss the look of love in my eyes
All gone now, or is it a good disguise?
Do ya?
Do you miss the breathless feeling
That would set your heart reeling.
Do ya?
Do you long to be able to touch
The person that loved you so much.
Do ya?
Do you long to hear the words so true
`I love you` and returned by you, oh! How it grew.
Do ya?
Do you often stand and just think
Of what we had, then does your heart sink.
Do ya?
Do you long for that aching feeling inside
It may ebb but would return with the tide.
Do ya?
Do you long to go to far off lands
On distant shores with snow white sands.
Do ya?
Do you long to soar up so high
Remember together, how we`d fly.
Do ya?
Do you miss the thudding in your chest
You couldn`t still it – it knew no rest.
Do ya?
Do you miss the burning inside
A turmoil of a feeling you couldn`t hide.
Do ya?
Do you long to hold me in your embrace
And look into my eyes and see my smiling face.
Do ya?
Do you still get `that feeling` so true
You said, "without it you`d feel blue".
Do ya?
Do you have a place for me in your heart
You were always in mine right from the start.
Do ya?
Do you mourn for the loss of what we had
It was so special, not just a fad.
Do ya?
Do you miss the flirting, teasing too
Each day would bring these things anew.
Do ya?
Do you miss the strawberries & peach
The cherries too, for which you`d reach.
Do ya?
Do you long for me to hold you once more
Sending feelings to rock you to the core.
Do ya?
Do you miss us always thinking the same thing
Writing it together, also liking the same thing.
Do ya?
Do you remember the `payback` times we had
Trying to outdo each other – quite mad.
Do ya?
Do you look at the computer screen and think of me
Wondering if I am there, wishing my words to see.
Do ya?
Do you think of the three faces
Clear to go to our special places.
Do ya?
Do you think of the painful goodbyes
Heartbreaking, tearful, plaintive sighs.
Do ya?
Do you ever think back to our times of bliss
With a smile, or a silent tear for what you miss.
Do ya?
Do you let your mind take you
To places we once knew.
Do ya?
Do you long to take my hand and return
To feel our bodies & senses burn.
Do ya?
Do you miss your stomach churn at my touch
My kisses sweet, my caress so soft – how much.
Do ya?
Do you still have misty eyes and heart so blue
You said, "It always happens when am missin` you".
Do ya?
Do you still slump your shoulders and energy drain
Do you still miss me as much as dry land misses rain.
Do ya?
Do you still love me from head to toe
If you do, will you ever let it show.
Do ya?
Do you realise, they`ve kept us apart
But they can never stop the feeling in our heart.
Do ya?
Do you see, they can`t stop our minds from going
Back in time, reliving, enjoying, feeling flowing.
Do ya?
Do you believe we are free in mind and soul
We both captured our heartfelt goal.
Do ya?
