A fairy ring of toadstools in a forest glade
Perfectly symmetrical the circle for all to share
By the elves and pixies ‘twas specially made
Each seed planted with loving care
Where the floor of the forest was lush and green
The little people planted the tiniest of spores
Magically encircling their lovely fairy queen
In a crystal palace that to the heaven soars
If you should happen on a fairy ring
You must stop look and listen carefully
If your watchful you may hear the fairies sing
Whilst on the toadstools they dance gleefully
