Reflections Of Me, Reflections Of YouYou see me as a person With such a gentle heart, That nothing in this world Could ever tear it apart. I see you as a person Who builds up the walls, Never to let anyone in Not to let the bricks crack and fall. You see me as a person With a touching soul, Feeling sorrow for others I do not even know. I see you as a person Who lies and deceives, Making so many promises That you can't ever keep. You see me as a person Who is beautiful inside and out, But I just don't see it I am filled with doubt. I see you as a person Whom is caught up on yourself, One day, your world will come crashing down When your true feelings, are left upon a shelf. There is no doubt This much is true, Seems we have nothing in common Reflections of me, reflections of you. Just something I had to write. Jan.11/2006 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
