Love Poems

Denisa Leaves

                        Denisa Leaves

You have so much love to give, you care so much for others
and make all of those around you feel comfortable and that they indeed have a friend,
These are gifts that God gave you that shed light like that of a full moon which defeats the dark night,
Please remember me, I know I shall always remember you---even if I were to live for a thousand times a thousand years,
Your smile, which is like the sun peeking over the horizon at dawn,
Your hair, which is like the black mane of a lion,
Your eyes, which are dark and warm, like two fluid pools of oil
Your voice and laugh, which must make the very angels before the throne of God jealous with envy,
Your touch, which is softer and warmer than a down comforter on a cold winter's day,
You are lithe and supple as a willow, and your beauty would cause a field of roses to wither with shame,
Your charisma is so magnetic that it makes every head in the room to turn around to see what is pulling them,
Denisa, you are a rare find and no one will ever compare to you.
