When a new day peeks in
So many things for us to do,
And as the sun comes rising
We hide the pain behind a grin
Some of us put on a mask
And wear a smile ten miles wide.
We all go through so many a task
Many things we hide after we've cried
Most of us persists on wearing a mask
But sooner or later it gets too much.
Then daily in front of the mirror we ask
Why and how, we get like this out of touch
So once in a while we take off the mask
But put it back to conclude another task.
