The Hardest Job

The catch is that you stay the course
No time for games and no remorse
For time does stop and so will too
Of life's clock you had and knew

The walk begins with just one step
The talk depends on you inept
Who falls at times, to be like him
The son of man who knew not sin

Your goal to spread the seeds of faith
Into each soul before too late
For in your hands you hold the key
To what awaits one's destiny

You work for free sometimes thankless
Attempts to reach those some mindless
Salvation free is what you sell
To save the lost the fires of Hell

But walk you do and press the need
For all to taste the bread that feeds
Hungry for him the God that made
amends for you he called and saved

So walk we do and fish for men
Upon this Earth where evil bends
The efforts made by one Christ chose
The Hardest Job you've been proposed
