Missing You

James

As I sit by my window and think of you,
Life is so lonely, and the sky less blue.
I think of you on a rainy night,
You are not here, and nothing seems right.
I look at couples, as they walk hand and hand,
And I truly ache for the Love of my man.
The way you snuggled under me at night,
When things went wrong, you made them right.
Your touch, your smell, and your kiss,
Is the one thing I truly miss.
Loving you was easy, and now we are apart,
Loving memories are forever in my heart.
My life was touched by an angel, which is rare,
People thought we were a handsome pair.
I thank you, for the memories I have for tomorrow,
But when I think of you I feel pain and sorrow.
We come into this world so innocent and pure,
Never knowing the pain we one day may endure.
Your body was tired, and this I know,
I asked God for strength to let you go.
You said that you did not want to live, and be a burden,
One day you were gone, and it was so sudden.
You told me to bury you and go on with my life.
That any man would be happy  to have me as a wife.
I miss your smile, your humor and our walks,
I miss your strength, our closeness and the pillow talks.
I thank God for bringing you into my life,
And I thank you for making me your wife.
Thank you for all the Love,
And all the things we went through,
Rest in peace My Love….And I Am Missing You.
