Not What He Thought She Was

He knew she was the one for him
It had been written in the stars,
She left him lifeless
Left him with unhealable scars.

He sought her out
And settled down with her,
But she wasn't what he had thought
Filled him with much anger.

She was nice to his face
But always talked behind his back,
It wasn't written in the stars after all
It was her love, that he had lacked.
