Words unspoken, Words unread!
Let me sleep
My dreams are filled with violets,
With roses and fine wine.
With tender love and happiness,
And a lady so divine.
My dreams are filled with rainbows,
With colours bright and bold.
I dream that you're my rainbow's end,
And my priceless pot of gold.
I fill my sleep with thoughts of love,
And feelings warm and kind.
But one day I do hope to take,
Those pictures from my mind.
Then I'll hold them in my aching heart,
In a heart once strong now weak.
In the body of a loving man,
For the soul-mate that I seek.
So until that day is reality,
And your love is mine to keep.
I shall dream of wines and violets,
So for now just let me sleep.
With roses and fine wine.
With tender love and happiness,
And a lady so divine.
My dreams are filled with rainbows,
With colours bright and bold.
I dream that you're my rainbow's end,
And my priceless pot of gold.
I fill my sleep with thoughts of love,
And feelings warm and kind.
But one day I do hope to take,
Those pictures from my mind.
Then I'll hold them in my aching heart,
In a heart once strong now weak.
In the body of a loving man,
For the soul-mate that I seek.
So until that day is reality,
And your love is mine to keep.
I shall dream of wines and violets,
So for now just let me sleep.
