Words unspoken, Words unread!

Crystal Waters

On the calm blue crystal waters,
In a boat far out to sea.
A group of dolphins catch my eye,
Swimming fast and free.

I watch them on the ocean waves,
With a movement full of grace.
And yet we're killing all of this,
As the smile vacates my face.

Pollution caused by chemicals,
And of things that we know not.
There's trawlers killing all our fish,
Yet no-one gives a jot.

Do we know what foods are safest?
What bacterias they have got.
What poisons we are swallowing,
I'm afraid that I do not.

So please embrace tomorrow,
For the actions of today.
Will make a difference, "you shall see",
Or we'll throw it all away.
