 One Of Them (Pt.3)
My friend turned to me
And said, "You are one of us,
You have to feed."

"I don't want to be
One of you," I replied.

I got scared and ran.

I ran for quite a while,
It seemed like
Hours had gone by.

All I could think about
Was the looks on those
Faces of the people
That were lying on those tables.

Is this what happened to me?

Did my own friends betray me
By getting me drunk
And sacrifice me to the vampyres?

How could they do this to me?

I could feel my body
Being transformed to the side
Of the non-living.

I collapsed on the ground,
My body was growing weak.

I had to feed,
But I didn't want to.

I didn't have any other choice.

I hid behind a tree
And watched a person
Running through the park.

I started stalking him.

He stopped.

As he turned around,
I ran up to him
And knocked him to the ground.

I sunk my fangs
Into the puffed out
Veins in his neck.

Now, I know,
I truly am....
One of them.
