The BookAs I sat by the babbling brook, I started to open up my Book; Such intrigue to say the least, Of stories for my eyes to feast. Images kept filling my head, From every page that I read; Giving me such joy and delight, Of powerful messages of might. Written with wisdom in mind, That could help all of mankind; Problems facing us through time, Just how to handle mortal crime. Timeless in solving tribulations, And turning them into jubilations; Answers to the trials in this life, In laboring through all the strife. You wonder what Book it may be, The Holy Bible God gave to me; Filled with His power and wisdom, As it prepares me for His Kingdom.
