Resurrection
Parade they do making their rounds
Paying respect some wearing frowns
While others stare in disbelief
Saying so young crying in grief
Family and friends my exwife too
Who would have thought the me they knew
Would lie today in this condition
Lifeless, cancer to it submission
Can't say to them so glad you came
Extend my hand or say their name
To thank them for just stopping by
To say to them no need to cry
Do not grieve I would tell them
I'll be with God when I ascend
This frame you see before your eyes
Was only that where my soul lied
The road ahead is paved with gold
My eyes will see and soon behold
Jesus my Lord who called for me
So dry your tears, I've been set free
We will miss you I truly love
But know today in skies above
Our God prepares a place for you
To see me once again all knew
