 A Strange Dream
I was sitting down
Explaining poetry to someone,
But I couldn't see their face
I was talking about cinquains.

They asked me how I get it
To sound so nice,
I explained there were
Two lines I combined.

In the back of my mind
It was wrong,
Why would I say that?
I knew that extra line didn't belong.

I also said
The rules of cinquains changed,
They could do it whatever way they want
It would always look the same.
