Fairies By The Brook
A little boy goes fishing
Down by the brook,
He puts a worm
On his fishing hook.
He hears the reeds rustling
But there is no wind,
He sits quietly
And wonders what is behind him.
A tiny giggle, he then hears
He looks, but there is nothing there,
He dips his fishing rod, into the water
Beneath is hat, something tugs at his hair.
He turns around
Two fairies, flutter in the wind,
Laughing and playing games
The little boy, now wears a grin.
He invites them to sit down
On the cooling grass,
He told them not to worry
As they didn't trespass.
This little boy
Won't forget this day,
When down by the brook
Two fairies met up with him, to play.
