Dawna Sue's Passing
I weep bitterly through the cold, dark night,
never seeing the cheerful moon casting its joyous light.
My pain washes away the brightness of the stars,
wipes away the brilliance of the merry glow of the planets,
leaving me embittered, lost and utterly alone
because of the realization of Dawna Sue's passing.
