Tears Of The Unloved
Walking down a city street
Rain pours down upon their heads,
Wishing they had someone to love them
Cuddled up in a warm bed.
Tears stream down their faces
They look toward the sky,
Some of them stand and ask
"Oh, God, why?"
Many of them sit
On the benches at the park,
Crying the day away
Into the loneliness of the dark.
Tears of the unloved
Fall upon this fragile earth,
People before them
Have been crying, before their birth.
