CHILDREN BEWARE!
It all started off on a night such as this
Little children's hearts, were filled with bliss.
It wasn't a quiet night like all the others
Children gathered goodies with their fathers and mothers.
Little ghosts, goblins and vampire costumes
Grim reapers, teddy bears and witches with brooms.
A little boy went out on his own
He went to a house where noone was home.
He went up the steps and knocked on the door
He noticed a gaping hole in the porch floor.
The wind started to blow, he thought he heard his name
Someone must have been playing some sort of cruel game.
He walked over slowl, to see if anyone was there
Read a sign that said, "CHILDREN BEWARE!"
Thinkig nothing of it, he kept walking
All of a sudden, he heard someone talking.
Down inside the hole, he did look
There on a table, he saw an open book.
Pictures of vampyres, gremlins and bats
Something jumped up at him, it was a black cat.
He lost his balance and fell into the hole
He knew then, he was in deep trouble.
He got up off the floor and tried to escape
He noticed a dark figure in a long black cape.
The child knew, he shouldn't have been there
He didn't take heed to the warning sign, "CHILDREN BEWARE!"
The dark figure chanted, his voice got deeper
The little boy stood face to face with the Grim Reaper.
The Grim Reaper then stood silently, sickle in hand
A little boy crossed over to the dark land.
The Reaper's eyes glowed a crimson red
He raised the sickle in the air and chopped off the boy's head.
The boody head rolled across the floor
As tiny footsteps were heard coming up to the porch.
There was a haunting scream, in the night air
Pay attention to the sign, when it says, "CHILDREN BEWARE!"
