O Father of Goodness and Grace,
So worthy of our Love and Praise
With Humble and filled happy Hearts,
We Thank You for having such a part
In our lives You bless so richly,
Such as with our homes and family
It's at times like this we can see,
Your Providence condescending free
For of all that You have Created,
Of all the Life You've generated
As mankind we are wondrously Blest,
You've surely give us of Your Best.
This day of Giving and Receiving,
Is a day which strengthens our believing
That amidst our angry and troubled times,
That Good in humanity we still can find
And of all the Gifts sent to us from Above,
None else is greater than Your Gift of Love.
If we know that, it should suffice,
Being aware of Your Great Sacrifice.
Which you have given just for our sake,
The Gift of True Blessings You want us to take
And share with others as Joys abound,
Until everywhere Your Grace may be found
And this old world learn ways of Peace
Causing the bitter conflicts to cease.
Uniting together, and becoming as One,
As we share in Thee,in Thy Spirit, and Thy Son.
Thank You O LORD, for the Gifts of This Day,
May we thus seek e'er to walk in Your ways!
