A bridge to cross

To all my Muslim brothers, from my Jewish heart...
why must we fight why others choose to pray?
what anger does your heart despise...?
so peace will have it's day.
Where is the bridge that we can cross?
To rejoin our bitter past.
Why are all the prayers that we pray...
Lost at every chance.
We all must find a better way,
Religion is not ours to own.
the word of God...
The one true God...
Is not just ours to own
