 Heartbeats

Let's lay down
next to eachother
without talking,
or making a sound.

Let's hold eachother
through this
cold, windy, rainy night.

Let me rest
my weary head
upon your chest,
so I can hear
the sound of
our beating hearts....
together.

So, hush
don't make a sound,
just hold me
in your loving arms.

Let our hearts
beat as one.
