Some may fear driving in the snow,
As they move crawling real slow;
But as for me I am having no fear,
Since I am knowing that God is near.
It does not matter what I am doing,
Or what direction as I am pursuing;
Since He is so precious and so dear,
Since I am knowing that God is near.
Even if I am facing an angry mob,
Or being interview for another job;
My troubles just seem to disappear,
Since I am knowing that God is near.
I am not riled by sadness and sorrow,
In knowing of a hope for tomorrow;
His Word is comforting when I hear,
Since I am knowing that God is near.
So when I die then I will plainly see,
My inheritance that is waiting for me;
As all the mysteries will become clear,
And in knowing that God will be near.
