Cup of Salvation
Mankind was placed in a fruitful garden with trees
by our Lord who created the earth and soft breeze.
Strollin' through the garden with God during the day,
Happy and listening to all that He would say.
The sun shining bright and birds flying in the air
A perfect time long ago filled with joy and care…
then broken by a snare.
Frightened, defiled and filled with the burden of shame
Generations to come will carry the sin and blame.
Cry out to the Lord if your soul needs lifting up!
Be cleansed by Lord Jesus and remember His cup.
A cup of His salvation, not of thy sorrow;
Lift up your heart for an eternal tomorrow!
Don't be too afraid or troubled to call out now
To the One who we trust for an eternal vow.
