Beneath the pallor of the moon
When the earth is kept in its slumber
A lonely sound breaks the hush
More magnificent than heavens thunder
Echoing through the still of air
Almost in defiance to go unheard
I understand this call of heart
Though I can not speak your word
Perhaps, in you, a kindred spirit
Sisters of earth are you and I
Resonating our calls in pitch of night
In hopes that love is listening....
