Dark Poetry From A Twisted Mind

Fading Away

I will fade into
The background now.
Today & every day.

I camouflage myself
In grays & creams
& beige.

I fade into gray walls
& all the woodwork…
To not
A solitary soul.

I do not miss
The company.
Though sometimes I do miss
The sanity.

I laugh to myself.

Then uncontrollably.
