Dark Poetry From A Twisted Mind

Just Me

I struggle to be
A part of this whole.
Yet I cannot fit in
To this little square mold.

Can't make myself
Have 4 corner, 4 sides.
When my soul has no shape
Yet has so many sides.

Neither woman nor man.
Just somewhere between.
Locked inside
This female body.

How can I decide:
Male or female?
Black or white?
Gay or straight?
Left or right?

Why not
All of the above?
Or what I feel like
Today?

Why must I
Choose black or white
When there's so much damned gray?

I am dark & light.
He & she.
I am everything I am.
That's it.
Just me.
