Ash Wednesday~~~A Heartfelt Prayer !!!

I AM ADDICTED~~~~
to cigarettes~~~~

Please join me in prayer,
I'm trying to give them up
for Lent......

Ash Wednesday

A Heartfelt Prayer

Before Your Heavenly Throne, I humbly bow.
My sins I wish to atone, I just don't know how
To tell You, Lord, what Your Mercy has meant to me.
Without You standing by me Lord, I would simply cease to be.

I know my sins are purulent, my habits speak untruth
I have sinned against You since the days of my youth.
I know that I'm forgiven, that my sins have been repaid.
You suffered on the cross for me, in a tomb You were laid.

I call upon you now, my Savior and my Guide
For sins that boil within me, my arrogance and pride.
Take all from me, save what you want to teach me with,
Grant me the strength that I will need to receive this special gift.

Cleanse my heart, from the inside out.
Remove my worthless thoughts,
Grant me Your Peace in times of Stress.
Cleanse this spirit that you bought...........
