Faith by HearingYou say that we can not believe, If your eyes and ears not receive; And so your faith can not grow, As you live such a dreadful woe. Seeing is believing for as proof, So to see on TV it is not a spoof; Hearing people stress their views, Sounding as the truth in the news. In the newspaper and the Internet, Reading putting you in a mindset; Surely having no reason to distrust, Since reporters seem fair and just. But when it is the Bible you depart, Since you can not take it to heart; For the facts are not in your sight, As old stories do not shed light. But faith does not come by seeing, Rather hearing the Word conveying; The truth that brings us a new hope, That will enlighten in a new scope.
