 EVERYDAY I GO ON
It killed the love I felt
As you'd stop by Monday, Tuesday Wednesday, Thursday
Love on me then go home to feed her
Many times I cried until I puked

Lost Fridays together classically
I could love us then, you were all mine
Too much to ask of me to share you

After three months, after six months,
Then a year came and went
Still one time a week is all you'd give
Fighting for a lost cause

That you're going to commit to a life with me
I hate Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday,
Friday Saturday, Sunday,
Moments you spend there

Turning fields of flowers to land mines
Everyday I go on undetonated
Spring is almost here
Daffodils will come up among the explosives.
