The Wink!
It started in the corner,
And spread across your face,
And twinkled in that moment
You filled my empty space!
It traveled through my memory
And kissed it with a smile.
It tickled with your blinking
And did it in great style!
It never stopped its flicker.
From morning until night.
It added your dimension
And spread your teasing light!
I went to sleep so easily
And dreamed it back, I think.
I saw your face so clearly.
And sensed your special wink!
