Bondage to SinBondage to sin each day, Because we are so weak; And that causes us to stray, For the pleasures we seek. If we say we have no sin, Then we merely deceive; And the truth is not within, As we say that we believe. For all sin and come short, Of following in His honor; That can hinder or thwart, Heaven deterring us to enter. But if we admit and confess, Onto our God who is just; Will forgive us and bless, If in Him we put our trust. For our God is a good God, Who is willing to forgive; When we honor and laud, We will eternally live. Richard Newton Sherrer Copyright ©2006 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
